Walter “Dean” Peyton, 87, of Calmar, Iowa, passed away on Nov. 2, 2022, at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, Iowa, from health complications. Funeral services: 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at the Calmar Lutheran Church, by Rev. Byron Perrine. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, at the church. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery, Troy Mills, Iowa. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
