Vivian Hollingsworth Guice

Vivian Hollingsworth Guice, 76, of Etowah, NC, passed away at Fleshers of Fairview on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was born in Hendersonville, NC, to the late Gordon and Carolyn Orr Hollingsworth.

Vivian graduated from West Henderson High School and worked for the Henderson County Tax Collectors Office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, NC, and was a member of the church choir.

Vivian is survived by her sons, Mark A. Guice and his wife Elaine of Arden, NC, and Brent A. Guice of Anderson, SC; grandchildren Brodie Allen (27), Hope Sluder (22), Ashton Guice (13), and Caleb Guice (23); brothers, Jerry Hollingsworth and Shaw Hollingsworth of Etowah, NC; nephew Josh Wells and his wife Jane of Newport News, VA.

A memorial service will be held at eleven o’clock a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, with Pastor Steve Scoggins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family will have a private graveside service.
