Virginia King

Virginia Mildred King, age 91, of Newcomerstown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 24, 1931 in Newcomerstown, Ohio, Ginny was the daughter of the late John Taylor and Mary (Randall) Taylor.
Ginny was loved by each person that she met through her life. Family always came first with Ginny. She enjoyed taking her kids on picnics at the lake, but her greatest joy was loving her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ginny was a 1949 graduate of Newcomerstown High School. After her children were raised, she became well known by many from working at Boyd’s Dairy Bar.
On September 23, 1950, she married the love of her life, Harry King. Together they enjoyed 65 years of marriage before his passing in December of 2015.
Ginny is survived by her children, Vicki King of New Philadelphia, Terry (Vanessa) King of Coshocton and Gina (Roger) Bond of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Courtney (Reese Tarrance) King, Seth King, Clinton (Juli) King, Nathan (Amanda) King, Zachary King, Chelcie (David) Ertle, Robert (Melissa) Bond, Kacy (Michael) Pachuta and Stacy (Ryan) McQuiston; great-grandchildren, Austin King, Emmy King, Wesley King, Harrison Ertle, Rylynn Ross, Gage Ross, Sawyer McQuiston, Addy Strimbu, Connor Garrett, Remington Pachuta and Rogan Pachuta; daughter-in-law, Beulah King; former daughter-in-law, Betsy Wise; and sister, Kathryn “Kitten” Crater.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ginny is preceded in death by one son, Craig King; and grandson, Adrian King.
Cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. An inurnment is planned for Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 1 PM in the Kings Methodist Church Cemetery, 5651 Kings Ridge Rd., Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832
