Virginia Bross, 98, of Iowa City passed away on May 21, 2025 at Bickford Senior Living.

She is survived by her children Mary Ellen Stigers (Roger) of Tiffin, IA, Robert Bross (Martha) of Cape Coral, FL, Timothy Bross of Iowa City, IA, and Gina Richardson (Mike) of Washington, IA, three siblings Mary Ann Waldschmidt (Ron) of Iowa City, IA, William Ball (Bonnie) of Tiffin, IA, and Jim Ball of Hills, IA, sister-in-law Pat Ball of Tiffin, IA, as well as 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Linda, four siblings Susanne, Eugene, Richard and Ivan, and daughter-in-law Lori Bross.

Visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service with the rosary recited at 3:30 PM. Mass will be Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church with a luncheon held immediately after at The Kirkwood Room. Private burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Cosgrove.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Moments Hospice Foundation.
