Timothy Roy Ward (Tim) passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the age of 57, at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.
Tim is survived by his mother, Dolores Rustin; his wife, Sandra Marlene Ward (Dillard); his children, Timothy James Ward (TJ), Kimberlye Michelle Ward, and Rebecca Lynn Ward; their significant others, Megan Maria Ward (Garren), Jessie Lee Moniz, and Tyler Chase Bonner; his grandchildren, Samantha, Sage, Sylvia, Daniel, and Ezekiel; and his sister, Robyn Day.
Tim was born on May 5, 1964, in Bangor, Maine, to Rodney Arnold Ward and Dolores Ward Rustin (Stinson). On December 27, 1993, he married Sandra Marlene Ward (Dillard). Tim and Sandra raised their 3 wonderful children in Hendersonville, NC, Timothy James Ward (TJ) (28) married to Megan Maria Ward (Garren) (25); Kimberlye Michelle Ward (24), engaged to Jessie Lee Moniz (25); and Rebecca Lynn Ward (21), engaged to Tyler Chase Bonner (24). He leaves 5 wonderful grandchildren Samantha, Sage, Sylvia, Daniel and Ezekiel. Tim had an older sister Robyn Day whom later in life became very close to each other again.
Tim was a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed John Wayne films and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful, but stubborn, heartwarming man that will never be forgotten and will be missed very much.
A celebration of his life will be held at Dana Baptist Church, 37 Buttercup Fields Ln, in Hendersonville, NC. The time of the service will be at 1pm on Saturday, November 6, 2021, in the fellowship hall behind the church.
