Ring in 2024 with a firework display and drone show at Baltimore’s New Year’s Eve Celebration along the Inner Harbor. Listen to live music from DJ Curtis of C. James Experience, Soul Cannon and more from 8 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.  The fireworks and drones  start at midnight. The event is free. promotionandarts.org/events/new-years-even/

Sunday: Noontime New Year

Have young ones who can’t stay up until midnight? Children can ring in the New Year at the annual Noontime New Year at Port Discovery Children’s Museum, 35 Market Place.  Take a family photo, make a confetti cannon, leave your resolution on the Wish Tree and more. Start 2024 off with a classical music concert at A New Year’s Day Bach Celebration at the Zion Lutheran Church, 400 E. Lexington St. Orchestral soloists by regional musicians will perform works by the celebrated German composer. Saturday: The Blackbyrds

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Blackbyrds at the Keystone Korner, 1350 Lancaster St. The band opened at the original Keystone Korner in San Francisco and for Sister Sledge at Morgan State University, both in 1973.  Their sound is a combination of jazz, funk, R&B and gospel and they are known for the 1970s song “Walking in Rhythm.” Ticket prices start at $45 in-person, and $15 for streaming. keystonekornerbaltimore.com

Ongoing: ‘Dial M For Murder’

The classic love triangle with a dash of murder made famous by Alfred Hitchcock’s “Dial M For Murder” plays at the Everyman Theatre, 315 W.
