Thaddeus “Ted” Skrzypek

Thaddeus, “Ted”, “Lefty” Skrzypek, 93 passed away while in the comfort of his home and family on February 26, 2022. He was a proud Korean War Veteran who served as a medic from 1950 to 1952. Dad was a hard worker starting his own business Skry-pek Concrete Construction then later worked as a surveyor for the Cook County Forest Preserve. Once retired, he continued his passion for gardening, woodworking and making pizzas. He lived a full and blessed life with his family always at the heart of everything he did. Ted is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte of 67 years. He was a loving and devoted father of Linda Skrzypek, Mary (Ed) Jost, Marlene (George) Rennwanz, Andrew (Kim) Skrzypek, Elizabeth (Brian) Skrzypek-Gajewski and a very proud Grandpa of Matthew, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Olivia, Ryan, Erin, Raifer, Jasper and Anthony. He was also an Uncle and friend to many. Memorial services will be private. Funeral information 847-359-8020
