Terry W. Riley
1963 ~ 2024
Maysville, Missouri…Beloved husband of Susan Riley for over 36 years, Terry W Riley, 60, of Maysville, MO stepped into eternity from his home on Monday, January 22, 2024. Terry was born in Macon, MO on October 19, 1963, to Gail and Clara Riley. Terry earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from North Missouri State University in Kirksville, MO in 1987. Terry was a local builder and realtor for many years. He used those giftings to teach his children many talents so, they could carry on the legacy of being a blessing.
Family was his biggest pride and joy. He recognized that his legacy was Godly children. His life motto that he lived by was, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” He did that faithfully all the days of his life. Terry was always very generous in everything he did. He cared deeply about people and would, and sometimes did, give them the clothes off of his back. He loved people and loved Christ, but one of his favorite things was bringing people to Christ.
He started a ministry, Seeds for Change and was later ordained as a minister through Joan Hunter Ministries.
Terry is survived by his wife Susan, daughters Crystal, Jessica, Ashley, Alicia, Sarah, and Hannah and sons Jon, Josh, Caleb, and Andrew. He is also survived by parents Gail and Clara Riley and brother Frank Riley.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Passion Church in Cameron, MO. with burial immediately following at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Maysville, MO. Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Passion Church is located at 1119 Bryan Rd. Cameron, MO. 64429
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seeds for Change Ministries.
