Steven W. Horsfall

Steven W. Horsfall, age 60 of Uhrichsville, died on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in his residence following a period of declining health.
A son of Joan Horsfall of Tuscarawas and the late Harold Horsfall, Jr., Steven was born in Twin City Hospital at Dennison, on May 5, 1961.
He was a 1979 graduate of Indian Valley South High School and worked for 26 years at Case Farms. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially making trips to Canada to bear hunt. He loved to tell stories of hunting with his father, family and friends. He has several bear, deer and turkey mounted.
In addition to his mother, Steven is survived by his companion Jody Smith; two brothers, Mark Horsfall of Uhrichsville and Kevin Horsfall of Tuscarawas; a nephew, Dylan Horsfall of North Carolina; uncles Rodney Ault of Gnadenhutten, James Ault of Fry’s Valley; aunts, Lana O’Brien and Marilyn Burgess of New Philadelphia, Doris Hina of Zanesville, and Sylvia Stein of Oldtown; numerous cousins he deeply loved; and special friends, Timmy Kerns of Fry’s Valley and Johnny Simmers of Baltic.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Harold Horsfall, Jr., uncles Paul Horsfall, Charles “Salty” Ault, Ronnie Ault, David Ault, Ronnie Stein; aunts Elaine Ault Beamer, Barbara Horsfall Walker; and several cousins.
In keeping with Steven’s wishes there are to be no public visitation or services. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care. Burial in the Fry’s Valley Cemetery will take place at a later date.
