Steven B. Hillmer
Steven B. Hillmer, age 57 of Yorkville, IL sadly left us on Friday, November 10, 2023. He was born on January 26, 1966 in Naperville, IL the son of Chester and Lucinda (Lahner) Hillmer.
He was united in marriage on May 30, 2009 to Vita and they spent the next 14 years happily together. Steven was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, working in mortuary affairs while being stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. Mr. Hillmer is a retired Laborer with Local #68, (#288). Steven worked hard his entire life to support his family. He loved his pets, enjoyed listening to music, and gardening with his best friend, Vita. Steven was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Steven is survived by his loving wife, Vita Hillmer of Yorkville, IL; his children, Lesley (Shawn) Hillmer, Nastasia (Steve) Tabor, Sarah Hart and Swayne (Sarah) Spargo; his 9 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; his parents, Chester and Lucinda Hillmer; also his sister, Kimberly (Bill Bryan) Hillmer.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Spargo; his brother, Allen Hillmer; also his grandparents, Alvin and Rose Hillmer, and Vere and Lydia Lahner.
A Memorial Service for Steven will be held at a later date.
