Steve Sfikas, age 86, of Chicago and formerly of Chios, Greece. Beloved husband to Effie, nee Anastasaki, for 61 wonderful years. Devoted father to Leo (Michelle) Sfikas, John (Kathleen) Sfikas, and Annie (David) Benz. Cherished to Pappou to Steven (Melisa Blazevic) Sfikas, Christopher Sfikas, Effie-Marie Sfikas, Matthew Benz, Joseph Benz, Jakob Sfikas, Sam Sfikas, and Stella Sfikas. Loving brother to Mike (Eva) Sfrikas, and Nick (Susan) Sfikas. Dear brother-in-law to Kalliopi Anastasaki, the late Evgenia Vergina, and the late Anastasios Anastasaki. Beloved cousin and uncle to many nieces and nephews here and in Greece. A visitation will be held Monday, February 7 2022, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago IL., from 4:00-8:00pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 8, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church,2727 W. Winona St., Chicago, IL.
