Stephen Winston Truesdale

Stephen Winston Truesdale, 69, of Springfield died Friday, December 25, 2020 at St. John’s Hospital. He was born February 14, 1951 in Montebello, California to William B. and Rolla M. (Jorgensen) Truesdale.

He is survived by three children, Joseph Truesdale of Riverton, Samuel Truesdale of Chicago and Alicia Truesdale of Springfield; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Truesdale of Colorado, Ellis Truesdale of Lincoln and one brother, Thomas (Bobbi) Truesdale of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stephen was a United States Navy Veteran. He retired from the State of Illinois. Stephen had a passion for photography. He was a member and past president of the Central Illinois Blues Club.

Private family services will be held.
