Sr. Mariella Hathorn, O.S.B
Sister Mariella Hathorn, O.S.B., born in St. Marys, Pennsylvania in 1939. She was the daughter of the late George E. and Marcella, nee Krieg. Dearest sister of Jean Klaiber, Sarah “Sally” Lanzel and the late Richard E. Hathorn and Louise Nissel. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Sr. Mariella lived for many years and served as prioress in the monastery at St. Joseph in St. Marys, PA and transferred in 1998 to St. Scholastica Monastery in Chicago. A private visitation and funeral Mass will be held at St. Scholastica. Interment will be private at All Saints Cemetery.
