Sondra L. Pauline

Sondra L. Pauline, 81, of Dover died peacefully, Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home in Dover while in the care of Community Hospice’s Truman House at New Philadelphia.
A daughter of the late Harland and Helen (Wayble) Maurer, she was born in Dover on June 18, 1940. She retired from the former Custom Coaters at Dover and had formerly attended St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover. Friendships were very important to Sondra and one of the things that she enjoyed most was having breakfast with her friends and catching up on a regular basis.
Sondra is survived by her children, Mike (Rose) Gintz of New Philadelphia, Lisa Penso, Rick Pauline, and Brenton “B.J.” (companion, Erin Schilling) Pauline all of Dover; her former son-in-law, Kent Penso of Dover, her brother, Harland (Ann) Maurer of Dover and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sondra was preceded in death by her first husband, Jan Gintz, her second husband, Joseph Pauline and her son, Timothy Gintz; her sister, Patricia (Maurer) Loibl and her brother, Kenneth Maurer.
In keeping with Sondra’s wishes, a private service will take place in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover with inurnment in the Dover Burial Park. Cremation care will be conducted by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
The family requests memorial contributions in Sondra’s name be directed to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
