Sondra Alice Wertenberger

Sondra Alice Wertenberger, 74, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 20222, at Crystal Care Center of Ashland.
She was born June 13, 1947, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Arlene (Harris) and John Kumisarek. Sondra worked over 15 years with Crane Plumbing and also worked the deli counter at Kroger Market Place for 11 years. Being with her family and especially her grandchildren brought her great joy. She looked forward to talking with her sisters and hearing from her sister-in-law, Tami. Cookouts, watching tv and movies, and listening to Elvis were her favorite ways to spend her time. Sondra was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Sondra is survived by a son, Drew (Andria) Wertenberger; two grandchildren, Zane and Briley Wertenberger; two sisters, Deb (Charlie) Fosnaugh and Nancy Robbins; a niece, Nicole (Mark) Bowers; three nephews, Adam (Anne) Fosnaugh, Bryce and Tyler Robbins; great-nieces and nephews; and her best friend, JoAnn Dressler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an aunt, Stella Santos.
There will be no visitation or service observed. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
