Sister Barbara McCarry, O.S.B.

Sister Barbara McCarry, O.S.B., born in Chicago, Illinois in 1939. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary, nee McCarron. Dear sister of the late Mary, Daniel (CPD), and Ceil McCarry. Sr. Barbara is mourned by her Benedictine Community, as well as students, friends, and professional colleagues. Sister Barbara taught for many years at St. Scholastica High School and served as principal of Queen of All Saints School, and later worked in administration for the Chicago Public Schools. A private visitation and Funeral Mass will be held at St. Scholastica Monastery on Monday, February 7th at 5PM. A live stream link is available on www.osbchicago.org.
