Shirley Edith (Cary) Steller

Shirley Edith (Cary) Steller, 87, of Chatham, passed away at 12:00 am, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Springfield on December 9, 1933 to James Cary and Clara (Fifield) Cary, and they preceded her in death. She married Robert Steller on January 18, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2005.

She is survived by one son, James M. (Joyce) Cary of Cantrall; two grandchildren, Lori Beth (Jeremiah) Huddleston of Mechanicsburg and Matthew James (Laura) Cary of Charlotte, NC; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma Goss of Midwest City, OK and Joyce McCaw of Dixon; nieces, Pamela Schafer of Dixon and Debbie Johnson of Springfield and nephew, Gary McCaw of Dixon and several other nieces and nephews.

Shirley was a homemaker.

Graveside Service: 1:00 pm, Friday, May 21, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Gary McCaw officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Assembly of God Church, Dixon, IL.
