Sharon “Yvonne” Killion

Sharon “Yvonne” Killion, 68, of Springfield died at 10:32 pm, Sunday, August 22, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born July 3, 1953 in Springfield to Larry Dean and Carol (Foster) Harrell. She married Gail Killion in 1971.

She is survived by her husband, Gail; three children, Todd Killion of the State of Virginia, Carrie Killion of Springfield, and Andrea (Cory) Fodor of Girard; three grandchildren, Richard Wade Scheib, Addison and Aubry Fodor; mother, Carol (Allen) Lane of Springfield; one sister, Jill (Mark) Forgas of IL and two brothers, Randy and Greg Harrell, both of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her father; son, Nicholas Killion and a sister-in-law, Penny Harrell.

Yvonne retired from the State of Illinois.

The family will host a Celebration of Life from 12 – 3 pm, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Local 137 Pipefitters, 2880 E. Cook, Springfield, IL.
