Sandra F. Winckler

Sandra Winckler, age 77, of Hinckley, IL passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 23, 1944 in Libertyville, IL the daughter of Bernard and Verna (Stoddard) Fogo.

Sandra was united in marriage on May 7, 1966 to Robert J. Winckler of Aurora and they spent the next 55 years happily together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Sandra graduated from Wauconda High School in Wauconda, IL. She was formerly employed by First State Bank of Palatine, Home State Bank of Crystal Lake, Anchor Brush, Hinckley State Bank, Sandwich State Bank, and Communications 2000 Inc.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Winckler of Hinckley, IL; her daughter, Sara Wong of Chicago, IL; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Winckler of Waterman, IL; her grandchildren, James Fredrickson, Jenni Fredrickson, Katelyn Fredrickson, Charlotte Wong, and Caleb Wong; her great-grandchildren, Jaylene Gould, Hope Fredrickson, and Liam Wiltermood; and her brother, Allen Fogo of Golden, CO; one niece, Kimberly; and one nephew, Kristopher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Verna Fogo; and her son, Steven Winckler of Waterman, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Nash-Nelson Funeral Home, 1001 E. Garfield St., Waterman, IL. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Maple Park, IL.

Friends may visit from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Nash-Nelson Funeral Home in Waterman, IL.
