Ruth Marie Bahr
Ruth Marie Bahr, age 89, of Mansfield, passed away at Lexington Court Care Center on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Ruth was born on February 11, 1933 in Croom, Maryland. She was the daughter of Lanier and Luella (Blevins) Wyrick. Ruth was employed at Mansfield Memorial Homes for 35 years as a nurse aid. She met her husband, Walter while working at Ideal Electric. The two married on August 8, 1964. Ruth took great pride in the upkeep of her home as it was always neat and tidy. She loved her dogs and took great care of them.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Bahr; her daughter, Linda Carol (Raymond) Williams; her brother, Harold (Patty) Wyrick; and her special nieces, Debra Carpenter and Betty (Joe) Kleri. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Evelyn Carpenter; and her brothers, Pete and Hermon Wyrick.
There will be no services observed. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Bahr family.
