Ruby L. Acree

Ruby L. Acree, 89, of Springfield died at 11:16 pm, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born April 16, 1932 in Perry, IL to William and Mary (Evans) Hannel. She married Andrew Acree June 21, 1949 and he preceded her in death August 15, 2011.

She is survived by two children; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.

Ruby was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and Eagles Auxillary. She was the owner of Acree Auto Sales and Sign Company.

Private services were held per her request.
