Roger Lee Ushman

Roger Lee Ushman, 81, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 29, 1940, in Watervliet, MI, the son of Anthony Joseph and Doris Madalene (Stainbrook) Ushman, Sr. He married Judith J. “Judy” Spain on July 26, 1961 and she survives.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mary (Donald) Hopper and Carol (Bob) Cheek, both of Springfield; two brothers, Don (Carol) Ushman of Springfield and Robbie (Janet) Ushman of Barnett, MO; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Tony Jr., Mike, David, and Kenny Ushman.

He retired as a deliveryman for Budweiser after 30 years of service and previously had worked for Homier Dairy.

Roger was a resident of Springfield most of his life. He loved fishing and riding his golf cart around and visiting his neighbors.

Cremation has been accorded by Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at a later date.
