Roger was born on April 24, 1952, to Robert and Rita Jerrick in Berwyn, Il. After an active and always curious childhood, Roger attended Campion High School, an all-boys, Jesuit -Boarding High School in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin from 1966 to 1970. While at Campion, Roger participated on the football, basketball and baseball teams while also spending time within the ROTC program. Over time it was evident the positive impact these four years had on him, through the entertaining stories he would share and relationships that were formed.

Roger met the love of his life, Margo Keough, in August of 1980. They married in the Fall of 1981 and had an endless love for 42 and a half years. In 1986 they welcomed their son, RJ. RJ married Kyla in 2011, and their sons Porter, Louis and Monty loved their “Papa”.

Roger wanted to help defeat the devastating diseases of CTE and Parkinson’s. He donated his brain to The Concussion Legacy Organization via Boston University.

Survivors include his wife, Margo Keough Jerrick and their son, Roger Joseph “RJ” (Kyla) of Omaha; grandchildren, Porter, Louis and Monty; siblings, Ron (Caryle) Jerrick, Bob (Jan) Jerrick, and Renita Pozatek; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Kerry and Tom Siekmann, Moira Keough Reynolds and Brian Poppelton, Richard Keough, Farrell and Lori Keough, Mary Lyman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Sebastian Michael Jerrick.
