Roena Quartez Armstrong was born on September 10,1955 to Barbara Armstrong in Stonega, Virginia and was the old of 6 children. At the age of 2, she and her mother moved to Cleveland, OH. She was educated in the Cleveland Public School System where she attended Parkwood Elementary, Harry E. Davis Junior High and John hay High School. As a teen she enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards and going out with friends. Roena was employed at several jobs before she began her career at Mount Sinai Hospital where she was employed for over 20 years before leaving due to illness. Roena gave birth to 2 children Thomas and Deanna who is enjoyed having fun raising. Roena was about family, so she loved to get together with her mom, siblings, and other family members for family gatherings especially on the holidays. She loved her nieces and nephews and spent lots of time with them especially as they grew up into adults. Roena never met a stranger; she helped others took in those in need. Roena accepted Christ as a child and attended church with her family who were all members of Bethany Baptist Church. Roena was plagued with several with several health issues over the years and on December 13th God called her home to rest. Roena was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Armstrong, Brother Andre Armstrong, Uncle Joe Armstrong, and Nephew Antonio Asberry. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, sons Thomas Armstrong (Darah), James Herron, Joenathan Banks, daughter Deanna Fisher (Anthony), Siblings Delores Asberry, Deborah Armstrong, Michael Armstrong and Reba Armstrong, Grand-Chilren Thomas Armstrong Jr, Sanah Fisher, Nephews, Damon Asberry (Lillian), Brandon Armstrong (Sierra), Aaron Armstong, Joshua Armstrong, Nieces, Tasharrah Honey, Alaiyah Murray, Sharremah Collins, Brittany Martin and an abundance of other relatives, friends and God children.
