Robert William Stovner
Robert William Stovner, 71, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, of Granbury, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2023, at his home.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2 P.M., on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, in Granbury. Burial will be private at a later date.
Robert was born on May 26, 1951, in Tacoma, Washington to William and Roberta Stovner. He proudly served his country in the US Army in Vietnam. On October 9, 2004, Robert married Jenny Lee Freeman. Robert was self-employed at a house framer. He enjoyed collecting and restoring both Corvettes and Harley motorcycles. Robert enjoyed the ocean and fishing. Most of all, Robert will be remembered as a loving and devoted father and grandfather.
Robert is survived by his wife, Jenny; his children, Brian Joseph Stovner and Delite Marie Chandler; his step-children, Rebecca Shaw, Chasity Commella, Jesse Mosely, Judith Mosely, Lisa Stovner and Cordell Mosely; by 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and by his siblings, Ruth Stratton, Dee Watson, Danny Ball, Terry Ball, and Diana Gable.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Waldren.
