Robert Taylor, 88 went home to Jesus on March 16, 2021 in Fort Worth, Tx. Born in Henrietta, Tx and raised in Fort Worth, Tx, Robert met the love of his life Betty James while attending North Side high school. They married and began their journey of a wonderful 68 years on August 9, 1952 in River Oaks, Tx. He was a veteran of the United State Army. Working for over 39 years with General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin as a tool and dye maker before retiring in May 1994. He with the help of family and friends built a home for his family in the mid 1960’s in which he resided in until his untimely death. Robert was a proud and Godly man, although a simple man, he loved and cared for his wife Betty with all his heart and soul until the very end. His Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren were his pride and joy as he was a proud Paw Paw, Pa, and Papa.
He is survived by his wife Betty Taylor; son and daughter-in-law Terry and Karen Taylor; his son and daughter-in-law Chris and Mascha Taylor; daughter and son-in-law Janice and Stan Brewer; his grandchildren Rachel Place, Craig Taylor, Marla Taylor, Matt Taylor, Lesa Eller, Randy Brewer, Paige Keeling, Devin Thomas and 15 Great Grandchildren. He also leaves behind many friends whom he counted as extended family.
Graveside services will be held at Acton Cemetery on Saturday; March 20, 2021 at 2:00PM. under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury
