Robert Claire Trumpy

Robert Claire Trumpy, age 92 of Batavia, IL formerly of Nokomis, FL, passed away
on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Covenant Living at the Holmstad in Batavia, IL. He
was born on June 4, 1928 in Avon, IL the son of Carter and Vera (Mings) Trumpy.

Bob was united in marriage on October 28, 1950 to Lynn Gunderson, the mother
of his children, and they spent 57 happy years together, until her passing in 2007.
He was then later united in marriage to Alice Mosley, who also precedes him in
death. Mr. Trumpy was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He was a
former member of the United Church of Christ. Bob was employed as Vice
President of Manufacturing at Furnas Electric in Batavia, IL, until his retirement.
After retirement Bob enjoyed wood working, golf, traveling and Barber Shop
Quartet (Venice Gondoliers), of which he was the treasurer. He was a loving
husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be
deeply missed by his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his children, Robert (Karen) Trumpy of Aurora, IL, Mark
(Ardith) Trumpy of Hinckley, IL and Lori Jo (Peter) Auxier of Milwaukee, WI; his
eight grandchildren, Alexa Trumpy (Jamie Lynch), Jessica Swift (Tim Dickerson),
Adam Trumpy, Scarlett (Dan) Tallian, Zachary (Kelly) Auxier, Brent Trumpy, Corbin
(Alexandrea) Trumpy, Alissa (Adam) Wakeley; his 9 great-grandchildren; and many
nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carter and Vera Trumpy; his first wife,
Lynn Trumpy; his second wife, Alice Trumpy; his two infant daughters; as well as
his sisters, Shirley (Jack) Padgett and Dorothy (Keith) Frankhauser.

Interment will take place at a later date in Avon, IL.
