Robert “Bob” G. Adams, 74, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center. Celebration of Life gathering will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St., SW. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
Robert was born July 2, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Elmer and Elvina (Wright) Adams. Bob served in the U.S. Marines Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a mechanic for many years, including at Rapids Chevrolet. Bob thoroughly lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harleys, enjoying a drink, shooting his guns and, most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandson.
Bob is survived by his son, Terrence Adams (Tiffany Zamora, Mcoy King and Paiton Berger); grandson, Kalel Adams; his siblings, Donna Craft, Don Adams, Pat (Denny) Everts, Rick Adams and Bev Moriarty; as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
