Richard “Rick” H. Anders

Richard “Rick” H. Anders, 60 of Auburn, died at 11:45 Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at his home. He was born April 7, 1962 in Springfield, to Richard and Wilma “Jean” Lauchner Anders.

Survivors include two daughters, three grandsons; one granddaughter, his mother, Wilma “Jean”; one sister Cathy (Ron) Wenneborg of Springfield; nieces and Nephews, Kylie Bates, Drew Lazar, Katlyn Lazar and Aaron (Jennifer) Wenneborg and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Stephen Michael Anders

Rick enjoyed racing and working on motorcycles. He worked for the State of Illinois

Visitation: 5-7 pm, Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Friday, September 16, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield, with Pastor Mike Harney officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Animal Protective League.
