Richard J. Gaspers JR of Sheridan IL passed on Sun. Jan.17, 2021. Born Chicago IL, Aug. 27, 1955. Richard was strong supporter of AA with over 17 years of sobriety. Unity, Service, Recovery was the words he lived by. He enjoyed spending time with his 4 grandchildren, going on hikes or anything outdoors. Time was mostly spent with his son Nick and grandson Ethan. The three of them were inseparable, the 3 Stooges. He will be missed and loved by many. Survived by his loving son, Nick (Sara) Gaspers; grandchildren Ethan, Wyatt, Brynn and Weston Gaspers all of Sheridan, IL; siblings, Michael Gaspers of WI; and Maureen Wojtowicz of Aurora, IL. Preceded by his parents, Richard J. and Ann Lorraine Gaspers; his sister, Rita Jacisin Gaspers and nephew Joey Dowd.
