Raymond Earl Gibson

Raymond Earl Gibson, 69, of Terrell, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 24, 2023, in Granbury, Texas.  Cremation has taken place and all services will be private at a later date.

Raymond was born on August 8, 1953 in Bay Minette, Alabama, to the late William J. and Eliza Gibson.  A rigger by profession, Raymond enjoyed going out to work on nuclear outages.  He also enjoyed working on vintage cars.  Raymond will be remembered for his strong work ethic and for his sense of humor.  Raymond’s family was the most important thing to him.

Raymond is survived by his children, Randall (Holly Mount), Renee’ Montgomery, Cody Gibson, and Rusty (Michelle) Jolly; his grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Brendon, Autumn, Sierra, Jayden, Money, Tyler, Chad, and Tre’; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Alexandria; his siblings, Ken, Christine, Tommy, and Faye; and by his faithful dog, Lady.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded death by his brothers, Wayne and David Gibson.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
