Randolph S. Brooks
- December 16, 2021
Randolph “Randy” Shelton Brooks born on May 18, 1954, passed away unexpectedly December 8, 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. Randy was born and raised in Pasadena, California before finding his permanent home in Akron, Ohio with his life partner of 30 years, Mary McClure. Randy’s love for life itself was one of a kind. No matter what the situation was, he could find the good in it and was eager to get others to see it too. He had a unique sense of humor and heart that knew no stranger. Quick to lend a helping hand and always eager to get to work kept life busy and friends in abundance. Anyone who knew him, knew of his out of this world love for Harley Davidsons and music. The only love greater than his love for Harleys, was the love he had for his grandchildren Miah and Joey McClure. The pride and joy that filled this devoted grandfather radiated from him any time they were together. His charismatic, outgoing personality was refreshing and will missed by many. Randy is survived by his best friend and life partner of 30 years Mary McClure, sister Denise McHale, sons Jason Brooks, Seth Brooks, Chad Brooks, Zachary Brooks, Samuel (Breanne) McClure daughter Alisa McClure, grandchildren Miah McClure, Samuel “Joey” McClure Jr, nieces, nephews and countless family members and friends.
