Prentice Martin “P. M.” Milam, Sr.

Prentice Martin “P. M.” Milam, Sr., 89, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, in Granbury, Texas. He was born December 4, 1932, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Prentice Martin and Aurie Sutherland Milam.

 

Service will be held at 2pm, Friday, September 30, 2022, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas, committal service at Mitchell Bend Cemetery.

 

P. M. was passionate about cars, especially antique cars. He loved collecting and working on them. He was generous with his devotion and time to the Gideons and his church. He was a very giving and kind man, that was brought up to respect others. He was a very proud Texas A&M alum, class of 1956. Using his Civil Engineering Degree, he built bridges and worked in the power industry. He worked for Texas Utilities at the Glen Rose Nuclear Power Plant for 21 years, retiring in 1992.

 

P. M. is preceded in death by his loving wife, Louida “Polly” and sister Dixie Seaquist.

 

P. M. leaves behind to cherish his memory, children, Trip “P. M. Milam, III” and wife Eddette, Wendy Hill, Theresa Smith and husband Fred, Alysa Smith and husband Johnny; grandchildren, Heather, Haley, Kristyn, Grant “P. M. Milam IV”, Nathan, Ben, Parker, Shelby, Jordan and Katelyn; 14 grat-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
