Plato McCraw

Plato McCraw, born on June 7, 1936 to Connie Cantrell McCraw and McKinley McCraw, passed away on April 25, 2022. He was married to Ethel Cox McCraw for 55 years. They have 2 daughters: Lisa (Richard) Pruitt and Pam (Scott) Sutton.

He is survived by siblings: Pearl Day and Leo (Peggy) McCraw. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Buck McCraw, Paul McCraw, JB McCraw and sisters: Mae Young, Mary Sue Funt, and Edith McCraw. He has 5 grandchildren: David (Shayla) Hamilton, Tommy (Lauren) Hamilton, Benjamin Pruitt, Madi Sutton, and Lily Sutton. He has 2 great grandchildren: Raven and Inman Hamilton and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at East Flat Rock First Baptist Church on Sunday, May 1st at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:45pm. A committal will follow the service at Jones Cemetery.
