Phyllis Keran

Phyllis A. Keran, 98, passed away on February 27, 2022 at Arcadia Care of Auburn. She was born on July 4, 1923 in Mattoon, IL to Charles and Anna Haskell and they proceeded her in death. She married Wendell Keran in 1942 and he preceded her in death on April 26, 1991.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Gary) Williams of Springfield and Christina (Tony) Naylor of Athens; four sons, Corley (Josi) Keran of São Paulo, Brazil, Michael (Vicki) Keran of Springfield, Jeffrey (Pam Hudson) Keran of Rushville and Chuck (Monica) Keran, of Springfield; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and two daughters in law, Sheila Keran of FL and Ronnie Keran of PA.
Phyllis was a resident of Springfield for nearly 80 years and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Cabrini Catholic Church, AARP and Alter Rosary Society of St. Cabrini. She loved dancing with her husband and is able to do that once again. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Wendy (Richard) Bryant.
Graveside Service: 11 AM, Friday, March 4, 2022 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Father George Nellikunnel officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Cabrini Catholic Church.
