Phillip Carl Teichman, age 81, of Plano, IL passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, October 11, 2021. He was born on September 28, 1940 in Chicago, IL the son of Carl and Sophie (Duda) Teichman.
Mr. Teichman served his country proudly as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Phillip was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano, IL. He was for many years a heating & air technician in the construction industry. Phillip was a former Moose Lodge Member. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Teichman of Plano, IL; his son, David (Tracy) Teichman of Yorkville, IL; his daughter, Tennille (Arthur) Shamburger of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Katie Teichman, Taylor (Adam) Hunger, Kaeleigh Shamburger; his great-granddaughter, Harper Hunger; his sister, Lorry Persico Calumet City, IL; and his brother-in-law, Wayne Burton of Burbank, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sophie Teichman; his son, Daniel Teichman; his brother, Terry Teichman; his sister, Carla Burton; and his brother-in-law, Carlo Persico.
Friends may visit from 2:00 until 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 W. South St., Plano, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Plano, IL. Interment with full military honors will follow in the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Bristol, IL. for immediate family only.
