Peter Colleen Ferguson

Patricia Colleen Ferguson, 89, of Springfield, passed away at 3:33 pm, Friday, September 16, 2022 at The Villas of Holly Brook. She was born May 2, 1933 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Peter Joseph and Florence Elizabeth (Day) Weyrauch. She married Hugh J. Ferguson March 24, 1950 and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2021.

Survivors include three children: son, David (Barbara) Ferguson of Branson, MO, daughter, Carole (James) Britton of Springfield and son, Joe (Lucy) Ferguson of Springfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, John and Tim Ferguson and one sister, Dorothy Mohn.

Patricia was a resident of Springfield all her life. She was a long-time member of Calvary Church. She was co-owner of Angelo’s Pizza “the best pizza in Springfield.

Visitation: 9 – 10 am Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Paul Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Old Salem Cemetery.
