Peggy L. Fouts
- May 10, 2022
Peggy L. Fouts, 89, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in Park Village Healthcare Center at Dover following a period of declining health.
Born in Adena, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Lucille (Stocksdale) Gribble and a longtime member of Roxford United Methodist Church at Dennison. To Peggy, her strong and unwavering faith in God was most important and she lived it on a daily basis. She was a homemaker but her husband would often say that she was “a wonderful homemaker.” Peggy loved to crochet and over the years she completed hundreds of afghans. She was always fun to be around and willing to challenge anyone to a game of Aggravation. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph “Mike” and Dianne Fouts of New Philadelphia; her four grandchildren, Kiris (John) Murray, Corey Fouts, Cody Fouts and April (Sean) Campbell; four great grandchildren and her half-sister, Debbie Fox.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. “Joe” Fouts; her daughter, Penny Wallick; her granddaughter, Noel Wallick; her sister, Wilma Waller and her two brothers, Edwin “Junior” Gribble and Melvin Gribble.
A funeral service celebrating Peggy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11 AM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover with Rev. Ron Heasley officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park at Dover.
