“Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church,” surrounded by her loving family, Paulette Marie Avis passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 after a brave 17-year battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 30, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Urbana, with Rev. Jim Brokman as Celebrant. Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, also at the church. Memorials may be directed to the C.P.U. robotics team, or the local food bank. Donations to the food bank may be dropped off at the church during visitation or mass.
