Paul Allen Blain
Of Walworth
Paul Allen Blain was born April 21, 1945 in Newark, Ohio to Henry Burr and Elogene (Shepard) Blain. He passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Harvard Care Center in Harvard, Illinois.
Paul grew up a farm boy, and always enjoyed hunting and fishing. He dreamed of a life of adventure and enlisted with the Navy in 1963. His service took him around the world. He enjoyed learning the history and seeing the beautiful architecture. He often brought back “treasures” for his children when he returned from sea duty. Paul enjoyed fishing and camping with his family, always hunting for the big musky. He loved working in his apple orchard with his grandchildren. He was an avid gardener and incredible cook, always sharing his harvest and baked goods with friends and neighbors. He loved westerns and fancied himself the Saltwater Cowboy.
Paul is survived by his wife Jeanne (Stefaniak) Blain; children Henry (Jessica) Blain, Michelle (Travis) Reins, Tony (Jennifer) Trajkovich, Lisa (Robin Pande) Trajkovich, Marie (Ken Murphy) Handschiegel, and Patricia Handschiegel; brother Charlie (Vicky) Blain; 8 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
