Patrick C. Carrie

Patrick C. Carrie Sr., age 59, of Sandwich, IL passed away on April 16, 2021. He was born on December 27, 1961 in Aurora, IL the son of William and Bertha (Scoles) Carrie.

Patrick was united in marriage on May 25, 1994 to the former Maria Luna and spent the next 26 years happily together. He was employed for 28 years by Suncast Corporation in Batavia, IL. Patrick enjoyed target shooting and was a member of the NRA. He was an avid car and car show enthusiast and enjoyed owning and working on motorcycles with his sons. Patrick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Carrie of Sandwich, IL; his children, Robert Luna of Chicago, IL, Patrick Carrie Jr. of Amboy, IL, Joanna (Michael) Woods of Plano, IL, and William Carrie of Sandwich, IL; his grandchildren, Killian Woods, Brooklynn Carrie, and Kyla Woods; and his brother Jon (Lori) Carrie of Somonauk, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bertha Carrie; and his brother, David Carrie.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 N. Bridge St., Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private.

Friends may visit from 4:00 until the Hour of Service on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, in Yorkville, IL.
