Patricia Reifenschneider

Patricia A. Reifenschneider, age 89, of Dover, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia after a period of declining health.
Born on June 28, 1932 in Dover, Pat was a daughter of the late John and Bertha (Schupbach) Peters. She graduated with the Dover High School class of 1950.
Pat retired in 1994 from Bank One of Dover with 26 years of service as VISA Manager. She was a past member of the American Business Women’s Association. In 1986 she was named “Woman of the Year” by this organization.
She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia. She served on numerous committees, including an original member of the Lighthouse Youth Center. Pat was the past chairperson of Outreach, and coordinator of the clothes closet, JIM’S Place and a member of Tri-Arts. Pat was awarded “Special Mission Recognition” in 2003 by the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of “Prime Chimes” bell choir for over 10 years.
Pat is survived by her children, Brian (Michelle) Warren of New Philadelphia, Debbie (Rick) Colvin of New Philadelphia, Jill (Kim) Sulzener of New Philadelphia and Wendy (Ed) Marinelli of New Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Kay) Peters; and sister-in-law, Sherril Peters.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband James E. Reifenschneider; brother Sam Peters; and companion, Adrian Maurer.
Cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory of New Philadelphia. Friends are invited to join the family in a memorial service at First United Methodist Church, 201 W. High Ave., New Philadelphia, OH at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. A private family inurnment will take place at a later time in Dover Burial Park.
