Patricia “Patsy” Schroeder

Patsy Schroeder died at 2:23 am, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born September 3, 1935 in Springfield to William B. and Evelyn Atteberry Nierhoff. She married Jack E. Schroeder on January 29, 1955 at Sacred Heart Church and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2009.

Survivors include one daughter, Jacqueline Suzanne Schroeder of Springfield; five sons, Terry Eugene (Pam) Schroeder of Tuscola; Stephen Edward (Debbie) Schroeder, Daniel Patrick (Teri) Schroeder, Mark William (Helen) Schroeder and Lawrence Timothy (Alice) Schroeder all of Springfield; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and one brother Edward H. (Dehilia) Hupp of Valparaiso, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother Robert Hupp and one sister, Dorothy Cowan.

Patsy was a member of the Secular Franciscan, Legion of Mary and Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus and Altar and Rosary Society.
Funeral Mass: 12:00 pm, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church with Reverend Jim Isaacson officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

CDC Protocol shall be followed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Church.
