Patricia Josephine Rush

Patricia Josephine Rush, 85, of Hendersonville, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 9, 2021, at her home.

A native of Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Stryczek Rush and Joseph Andrew Rush.  Patricia is also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Rush and a sister, Lorraine Capparelli.

She had prior residences in Chicago and Addison, IL before moving to Hendersonville.  Patricia was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.  She retired from The Laurels in 2019.  Everywhere Patricia went she loved talking to people and making them laugh. She also spoiled her pets, loved puzzles, crosswords and having a new car and driving around with Elaine.

Patricia is survived by her loving spouse of 63 years, Elaine Danz; a niece, Joan Rinchisen and her spouse Kenneth Buckowski.

All the Danz family were close to her heart, especially close were all her dear friends at The Laurels and her dear neighbors at Greystone.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a prayer service at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Shuler Funeral Home.
