Patricia Ann Polka

Patricia Ann Polka, 73, of New Philadelphia, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 28, 2021 following a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s disease.
A daughter of the late James Howard and Daisy Irene (Wallick) Taylor, Patricia was born September 28, 1947 at Dover, Ohio.
Patricia graduated from Dover High School in 1966 and was employed as the office manager at the Taylor Allstate Insurance Agency for many years.
She cherished her grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending their events. Patricia also enjoyed hosting her family for holiday meals and other celebrations.
She is survived by her sons, Jason (fiancé, Trisha) Polka of Dover, Jeff Polka of New Philadelphia and Todd Polka of Dover; her grandchildren, Chelsey (Evan) Pestello, Chad Polka, Mitchell (fiancé, Taylor) Polka, Makenzie Polka and Kaylee Polka; a brother, Bruce (Sharon) Taylor; brother-in-law, Ted (Brenda) Polka; a sister-in-law, Patty Taylor and a friend, Dave Donato.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry L. Polka who passed away on September 27, 2005; two brothers, Howard Taylor and Terry Taylor; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Ruth Polka and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Linda Polka.
In keeping with Patricia’s wishes cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A private graveside service will be held in Evergreen Burial Park at a later date.
Contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
