- August 8, 2023
Pamela Arnethia (Torrence) Davis, age 63, transitioned to be with the Lord on August 4, 2023 encompassed by her family. Born on August 22, 1959, in Canton, OH, Pam was the fourth child from the union of Harry and Rev. Naomi (Johnson) Torrence. She graduated from McKinley Sr. High School in 1977. Then in 1978, Pam married Wardell Davis in Lawton, Oklahoma. Together they had five daughters and one son. Pam loved her children dearly and was a doting grandmother to 10 grandchildren.
As a lifelong, faithful member of Bethel C.M.E. Church, Pam served as choir president, superintendent of Sunday school, and fervently attended bible study. She also had an
extraordinary aptitude for putting together puzzles and an affinity for the board game Scrabble.
Her love for reading and her church were boundless, but most of all she simply enjoyed gathering with her family.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Harry Torrence; mother, Rev. Naomi Torrence; son, Jerome Davis; grandchildren, Ne’Sean Stovall, Victory and Prince Dear; sister, Mona Gray; and brother, Phillip Torrence.
