Olive Nina Horton

Olive Nina Horton, 79, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield. Born July 18, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Phillip and Alice Gean (Brayman) Fusco.
A homemaker, Olive took pride in raising her children and grandchildren and her love extended out to anyone who needed it. Olive was a loving wife to her husband, Larry until his passing in 2015. She was an avid animal lover and collected owls and Garfield figurines.
She is survived by her five children, Larry “Eddie” (Annie) Horton, Sandra Horton, Rebecca (Mike) Gladden, Michelle Gladden and Doug Gladden all of Mansfield; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Larry, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn McDermott; and two grandsons, Charlie McDermott and Dalton Horton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will follow in the Veterans Section of Mansfield Cemetery.
