Obituary: Steven L. David

Steven L. David, born December 10, 1955, passed away on the morning of Saturday November 28th, 2020 at his home with his wife Debbie at his side.

Steve was born in San Clemente, CA to parents Lee and Carole. He and his brothers (Gregg and Jeffrey) grew up in San Clemente graduating from San Clemente High School. Steve was a lifelong learner, and an individual of never-ending curiosity who never tired of asking questions or learning about a wide range of topics. Steve never met a stranger. A caring man with a big heart who could befriend anyone from any walk of life and whose serendipitous meetings often led to lifelong friendships.

In 1978, Steve met his soon to be wife Debbie and they were married in 1979. In 1980 they were blessed with their 1st child (Steven Jr). Steve was a devoted caring father attending to the special needs of “TT” while balancing the demands of running a business. In 1982 Debbie and Steve welcomed their 2nd son (Clayton) and the family continued their life in South Orange County until moving to Bullhead City AZ before ultimately settling in Carson City.

Ever the entrepreneur, Steve quickly learned enough about residential and commercial construction to start his own business while still in his early 20’s. Over the years Steve would start many businesses employing dozens of skilled tradespeople who remained loyal to Steve because of his caring heart and willingness to go above and beyond for his friends and employees.

Steve was an avid outdoor sports enthusiast riding dirt bikes in his early years and enjoying boating, camping, and anything else related to the outdoors throughout his life.

Steve is survived by his wife Debbie, son Clayton (and wife Jackie), his grandson Zac, mother and father (Lee and Carole) and his extended family and friends who will forever miss Steve’s love of life, quick wit, and caring heart.
