Obituary: Joseph Edward William Lee Gibbs

Joseph Edward William Lee Gibbs, 69, of Carson City, Nev. October 6th 1954 – May 24th 2023. Originally from New York State. Served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. Settled in Carson City after working in various trades. He was an excellent cook and loved to prepare meals for his friends. In his last years he rededicated himself to the Lord.

Survived by his sisters; Sylvia Bowles, Gertrude Thomas and Eileen Gibbs. Psalm 70: 9 … 23 “Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth… My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.”

Burial scheduled for 9 am August 22nd, 2023 at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley, Nev.
