Norman “Swede” Roberg, 98, of Anamosa, died Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Anamosa Care Center following a long illness.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa. Pastor Ron Tatcher will officiate. Please visit Goettschonline.com to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences with the family.
Norman was born on September 5, 1925 in Paynesville, MN, the son of Ole and Mame Roberg. On May 29, 1949, he married the former Shirley Blythe in Martelle, IA.
He is remembered by a son Calvin (Julie) Roberg, Lakeside, AZ, daughters Chris Perez, Viola, and Candy Roberg, Anamosa, his brother LaVerne (Eunise) Roberg, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his parents, brothers Earl, Larry, Oliver, Russell, and Melvin, and his sister Ethel Barker.
